PUT SOME RESOLVE IN YOUR RUGBY

We thought it would be fun to think about New Year Resolutions [NYR] in terms of rugby. A few options we list below; feel free to consider and adopt them- that is the idea!

1. THANK A COACH OR MANAGER- ONCE A WEEK!

We all know many and they all deserve thanks! Why not add this one to your NYR? Do we need to mention Brownie Points/Pints?

2, MAKE A ROOKIE FEEL THE LOVE.

What a great way to start and continue the year and gain a friend. All newcomers want to have a mentor or two to aid them as they learn the rigg[gutcheck]ggors of rugby.

3. THANK A REFEREE EVERY GAME / SCRIMMAGE!

This one is so easy and so needed, Give those souls the love they deserve. No games without them and a good one can really make rugby better. Perfect NYR!

4. TAKE ONE PART OF YOUR GAME UP A LEVEL

Your speed, your off load pass, your ball placement, your drop kicks... we all have good points and sore spots. Try to up your game via extra drills and attention regarding a strong or weak spot in your game. Ask a coach to give your some feedback on that one thing.

5. ASK A FRIEND TO TRY RUGBY- ONCE A MONTH.

We have to spread the word, and not all of us were obvious ruggers from the beginning.

Imagine each of your rugby circle inviting folks every month to join- as a supporter, ref, player, party organizer- there s always a place at the pitch!

That's a nice five to start- we will probably add a few more over this thoughtful season!
